I am an ecologist based at the University of Cape Town. I am passionate about terrestrial and freshwater invertebrates, and I have a particular fondness for mountain habitats. My current research is focusing on the biology of ants in the Cederberg Mountain range, with my honours project investigating the cuticular hydrocarbon structures that allow these species to thrive in highly variable climates.
