I am an ecologist based at Cardiff University. I am interested in understanding how biodiversity is generated and maintained across our planet, and how we can use this information to conserve ecosystems. To do this, I use lab, field, and computational approaches to measure the traits of individuals that influence their survival in the wild. Most of the time, this involves catching ants along mountain ranges.
